Astra is currently in closed beta. Access is by invitation only. These terms govern your use of the Astra software and the astraios.net website.

1. Who We Are

Astra is developed and operated by Astraios ("we", "us", "our"), based in Kent, United Kingdom. When you use Astra or visit astraios.net, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the software or website.

When you register for beta access, you provide your name, email address, and platform preference. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure. You must not share your download link or beta access with anyone else.

Astra does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Astra does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by Astra. In a medical emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number immediately.

Astra uses artificial intelligence to generate responses, research, summaries, and other content. While we strive for accuracy and honesty:

During the beta, Astra processes data locally on your device. Your conversations, health data, memory, and personal information are stored on your own hardware and are not transmitted to Astraios servers. Cloud AI services (used for processing your requests) are subject to their own privacy policies. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Astra software, the astraios.net website, and associated materials (including design, code, text, and images) are owned by Astraios or its licensors. Beta access grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for the duration of the beta programme. This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astraios, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Astra or your breach of these terms.

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or bug reports during the beta, you grant Astraios a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the software without obligation to you.

We may terminate or suspend your beta access at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using Astra at any time by uninstalling the software. Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify beta participants by email. Continued use of Astra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
